Kilmorie House, Elgin
Built in 1851, Kilmorie House has been sympathetically restored to provide bed and breakfast accommodation and also self catering accommodation in the adjacent Gig House.
We are located close to Elgin town centre in the quiet surroundings of Institution Road with ample parking for up to 6 cars and the benefit of an electric car charging point.

In addition, we also offer self-catering accommodation at Glenerne, a well equipped three bedroom property also close to the town centre.
Accommodation That Suits You
Situated in the heart of Elgin, Morayshire, Kilmorie House was built in 1851 and restored between 2017 and 2019. All historic features and original fireplaces were reinstated, with great attention taken to return the house to its original Victorian splendour whilst offering modern, comfortable facilities.​

At present we offer three king-size double rooms and one standard double room. Two of these rooms can be set out as twin bedded rooms.

We also have additional accommodation in the old Gig House. This offers a king size double room and a twin bedded room upstairs, with a sitting room down stairs which also has a double bed which folds into the wall to create a third bedroom which is wheelchair accessible. The Gig House also benefits from a wheelchair accessible wet-room with toilet facilities, a small kitchenette and its own small courtyard providing an outside seating area in the summer.
